Terms of Sale & Bespoke Policy

1. Prescription Accuracy & Responsibility

  • Customer Warranty: By placing an order, you warrant that you are not under 16 years of age, not registered blind or partially sighted, and that you possess a valid prescription issued by a registered practitioner within the last 24 months.

  • Verification: We reserve the right to verify your prescription with your testing Optometrist. We cannot be held responsible for visual discomfort resulting from inaccurate or expired prescription data provided by the client.

2. The Bespoke Nature of Our Products

  • Exclusion from Cancellation: In accordance with the Consumer Contracts Regulations, prescription lenses are classified as "made to a customer's specifications" and are therefore exempt from the standard 14-day right to cancel or "change of mind" returns.

  • Final Sale: Once lens production has commenced following your consultation, the order cannot be cancelled or refunded.

3. Lens Adaptation Period

  • Non-Tolerance Policy: We allow a 30-day adaptation period for all new prescription lenses (especially varifocals). If you experience persistent visual discomfort, please contact us for a professional re-evaluation.

  • Remedy: If a non-tolerance issue is verified by our supervising [DO/Optometrist], we will provide a one-time lens replacement of equivalent value at no additional charge.

4. Frame Fitting & Adjustments

  • Handover: Final adjustment and "fitting to the face" are included in our concierge service.

  • Third-Party Alterations: Our warranty is voided if the frames or lenses are adjusted, repaired, or altered by a third party not authorised by Samson Eyewear Concierge.

5. Delivery & Acceptance

  • Ownership of the goods passes to you upon delivery and full payment. Any physical defects in the frames must be reported within 48 hours of the concierge delivery.
